Opportunities for
Parental Involvement |
|
-
Parents are
encouraged to
visit FBCM prior
to your child's
first day.
-
FBCM has an
Advisory Board
which meets
monthly to
determine
policies,
procedures and
facilitate
parental issues.
-
Each classroom
needs a class
parent.
The person would
help the staff
organize field
trips, class
parties, and
coordinate
teacher
appreciation
week activities.
Please sign up
in your child's
classroom.
-
Parents are
invited to visit
their children
at any time.
After checking
in at the
office, parents
can take part in
their child's
activities.
-
Parents may
choose to go on
field trips or
special events
with their
child.
Please sign up
in the
classroom.
-
Please feel free
to volunteer by
taping books,
mending dress-up
clothes, telling
a story, reading
a book, helping
on workdays or
parent programs,
etc. We
are always
looking for
someone to lend
a helping hand.
-
FBCM is often
involved in
community
outreach
projects.
Details of these
projects will be
listed in the
newsletter and
posted on the
parent bulletin
board.
Please
participate by
donating items
or your time.
-
Opportunties for
the care giving
staff to meet
with the parents
on a regular
basis to discuss
the child's
needs, progress
and to exchange
information can
be provided.
-
Parents who need
information on
any subject or
who have a
concern, please
speak with your
child's Lead
teacher first.
If she is unable
to help you,
please stop by
the office.
